Production Manager, Production Planning & Optimization

CCG is seeking a self-driven, detail-oriented candidate with experience in print and production management to partner with internal and external clients in the estimating, planning, scheduling and monitoring of our print and production
projects. Our ideal candidate possesses an open mindset and is always looking for the most effective way to produce a project to benefit our clients, as well as CCG.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with team members to determine customer requirements
• Assist with estimating of printing and production services
• Collect bids and manage outsource purchasing of materials and outsource services
• Develop a production plan detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date
• Monitor, manage, and coordinate project’s progress to ensure it’s following the schedule
• Proactively check progress of projects to ensure project conforms to specs and that it’s on track to deliver on time
• Troubleshoot problems that occur during production
• Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between all relevant stakeholders
• Collect, maintain and organize project records for analysis
• Prepare reports about production processes for upper management and suggest ways to improve efficiency
• Billing review for accuracy/anomalies for assigned direct accounts
• Capturing and reporting all additional costs incurred during the job life cycle
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred, not required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Print estimating and production experience preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks, deadline oriented
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
• Ability to work in a team structure, as well as independently
• Must be able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced environment
