Inkjet Press Operator
West Caldwell, NJ
CCG is seeking a self-driven candidate experienced in the inkjet printing process. Our ideal candidate has worked with either Helix or flatbed inkjet equipment and understands the decoration print production process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ability to perform the pre-press and press operator roles for inkjet digital print production jobs
• Accurately set up equipment with job information and specifications
• Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications
• Adjust color output while on press from pre-ripped custom design files
• Monitor and maintain equipment, performing press color calibration to ensure color accuracy and consistency
• Inspect equipment for defects and adjust as needed
• Track and record all consumables
• Keep color profiles necessary for consistency and calibration
• Maintain a clean workspace at all times
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Experience operating a commercial grade inkjet digital printer is required.
• General understanding of operation and maintenance protocols as they relate to inkjet press management.
• Attention to detail for matching color proofs.
• Excellent math skills, metric and standard conversions.
• Ability to learn quickly and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
