Continuing to drive efficiencies into its fulfillment, print, lettershop, warehousing and production environments, CCG is relocating and consolidating its manufacturing capabilities within its West Caldwell New Jersey 350,000 ft.² headquarter facility.
The move, which has taken place over the last several months, streamlines several key business processes. In addition, the reorganization has allowed CCG to identify, replace, consolidate, or update equipment across all departments. Equipment training and job enrichment are also considerations for CCG’s Senior Management during this transition.
Charles Walter (CCG, COO) commented, “The initiative was the culmination of several months of study and analysis by CCG Management, Production, and Operations. We have already seen significant enhancements to our ability to turn work more quickly while utilizing fewer resources to do so. We have also identified redundancies in equipment and technology, and have wherever possible taken advantage of this opportunity to upgrade our capabilities. The environment, when walked through by clients during facility tours, will seamlessly illustrate the various manufacturing steps and processes in the production of various client and showcased materials.
Clients will more easily see the manufacturing interrelationships needed to produce their materials, and understand the value-add provided by CCG.
