CCG Participates in “Red Nose Day” While Supporting the Community Soup Kitchen of Morristown
When Toni Koenig (CCG Vice President, Client Services) heard about the Red Nose Day event, she not only wanted to help lift children out of poverty, but also wanted to support the Community Soup Kitchen in Morristown.
Here’s how it worked. CCG purchased Red Noses for the employees for the May 21st event. For an employee, getting their Red Nose was easy. They simply needed to donate a non-perishable food or personal care item(s) with a value of $2.00 or greater.
In true CCG fashion, employees rallied bringing all sorts of critically needed items for the Morris County Soup Kitchen. The donations were gathered together, boxed and brought to the Morris County Soup Kitchen by CCG’s vans.
The CCG Photo Booth was also set-up in the main conference room where all the employees had fun, taking and sharing pictures on Facebook, Twitter, and other Social Media. It was a fun day, raised awareness, and provided money and food to those in need.
This event is one of many being coordinated within CCG’s 50 for 50 Program. The overall initiative is in celebration of CCG’s upcoming 50th Anniversary in February 2016; thanking our clients, community and friends for their support and loyalty by giving back to those less fortunate.
